Kingblade Games is run by Roee Amar, a solo game-dev aiming to create interesting and new game experiences. Currently working on its first commercial title, ‘Do Not Buy This Game’, a comedy walk-sim where the game is being built while you play.

The game explores how deep a connection can you create between the player and the game's creator, only using minimalist game mechanics, humor, and honesty.

History

Every indie developer has been working on a game that they had to shelve because of one reason or another (development took too long, not finding your audience and so many other familiar reasons).

I worked on a game I was really passionate about for a year and a half before stopping and deciding it was just too much for my current self to build.

So what do you make next? And how do you deal with putting your beloved game on indefinite hiatus? Well, I decided to make a game out of it.
