Week #8 - Aaaaaandddd... Scene!

 The gang for the prototype is now ready (no animations for our two new friends, but good enough for a prototype I hope).

What do you guys think about them? As always I am open to feedback.

 

Also, remember that dialogue system rebuild I wrote about in this post?

Well, this past week I have been using it a lot! I've written down a few plug-ins for it that makes my life even easier, and I didn't even scratch the surface of what I will probably do with it in the future.

 

Just as an (unclear because I don't want to spoil things for the playtesters) example, here is a dialogue tree for one of the scenes:

 It allows me to control where in the story everything is, what the player can do and how the game will react, and therefore I can make the game extra engaging for everyone, no matter what choices and actions they take.

 

So far I made 2 scenes of... many, but they are the big ones and things should go smoother from now on, so I expect to deliver the prototype on time (:

 

After the prototype I will be able to show you more of the details of what's going on, but I hope these posts peak your interest even a little bit.
